¿Always use a layer of stabilizer which is bigger than the hoop being used. (The stabilizer will not work properly unless it is clamped by the hoop together with the material being embroidered.).
¿Stabilizer can usually be obtained from a fabric store. Stabilizer is available in several different types, from thin to thick. Purchase whichever type suits your embroidering needs. It is generally recommended that the weight of the stabilizer be similar to that of the fabric.
