1 Power on this unit by pressing on the 
side of the POWER switch.
2 Power on the video monitor and set its switches as shown below.

Note
When controlling this unit from an editing control unit connected to the REMOTE connector (see page 18) on this unit, press the REMOTE button to turn it on. When not, turn the button off.
