Recording the audio signal on a connected component

1 Connect the audio cords.

See “Hooking up optional components” on page 85.

2 Start recording.

Refer to the operating instructions provided with connected component.

Recording the audio and video signals from a VIDEO CD into a video tape

1 Connect optional audio cords from the AUDIO OUT jacks and the supplied video cord from the VIDEO OUT jack to the audio and video input jacks of you VCR.

2 Start recording.

Refer to the operating instructions provided with connected component.

Note

The audio signal from AUDIO OUT jack cuts off for a moment during some operations such as when you press SOUND FIELD, AUDIO or KARAOKE MODE.

Connecting external antennas

Connect an external antenna to improve the reception.

FM antenna

Connect an optional FM external antenna. You can also use the TV antenna instead.

Connect a 6 to 15 meter insulated wire to the AM antenna terminal. Leave the supplied AM loop antenna connected.
