Select the black level (setup level) for the video signals output from the COMPONENT VIDEO OUT jacks.

You cannot select “BLACK LEVEL (COMPONENT OUT)” when the system outputs progressive signal.

If you can change the aspect ratio on your progressive format (525p/625p) compatible TV, change the setting on your TV. This setting is effective only when “P AUTO” or “P VIDEO” is selected by using the PROGRESSIVE button on the unit.

Adjusting the delay time between the picture and sound

— A/V SYNC

When the sound does not synchronize with the pictures on the screen, you can adjust the delay time between the picture and sound.

A/V SYNC does not work for MP3 audio tracks and JPEG image files in DATA CD.

1 Press DISPLAY when playback is stopped.

The Control Menu appears in the on-screen display.

2 Press M or m repeatedly to select

(A/V SYNC), then press

ENTER.

The options for “A/V SYNC” appear in the on-screen display.
