Notes

•You cannot change the vocal during playback of the DVD VIDEO with 1 guide vocal recorded.

•When playing a DVD VIDEO, the function only work for Dolby Digital Karaoke format.

•The “VOCAL SELECT” setting is automatically changed to default setting when you

–turn off the system.

–change the function.

–turn off the Karaoke Mode.

–open the disc tray.

–change the disc.

•Depending on the disc, you may not be able to do the above operation.

Turning on the guide melody

You can turn on the guide melody when singing with DVD VIDEO in Dolby Digital Karaoke format.

1 Press DISPLAY once or twice during Karaoke Mode is turned on while playing a disc.

The Control Menu appears in the on-screen display.

2 Press M or m repeatedly to select

(GUIDE MELODY), then press

ENTER.

The options for “GUIDE MELODY” appear in the on-screen display.

3 Press M or m repeatedly to select “ON”, then press ENTER.

The guide melody is turned on.

Notes

•To turn off the guide melody, select “OFF” in step 3.

•When playing a DVD VIDEO, the function only work for Dolby Digital Karaoke format.

•For the DVD VIDEO without guide melody, you cannot hear the guide melody even you set the setting to “ON”.

•The “GUIDE MELODY” setting is automatically changed to “OFF” when you

–turn off the system.

–change the function.

–turn off the Karaoke Mode.

–open the disc tray.

–change the disc.
