Changing the on-screen display language, DVD menu language and audio track auto selection mode

—LANGUAGE SETUP/CUSTOM SETUP

1 Press DISPLAY when playback is stopped.

The Control Menu appears in the on-screen display.

2 Press M or m repeatedly to select (SETUP), then press ENTER.

The options for “SETUP” appear in the on- screen display.

3 Press M or m repeatedly to select “CUSTOM”, then press ENTER.

The “LANGUAGE SETUP” display appears in the on-screen display.

4 Press M or m repeatedly to select “LANGUAGE SETUP” or “CUSTOM SETUP”, then press ENTER.

5 Press M or m repeatedly to select an item, then press ENTER.

6 Press M or m repeatedly to select a setting, then press ENTER.

The default settings are underlined.

xOSD (on-screen display)

Switches the language of the on-screen display. Select the language from the displayed list.

xMENU (DVD VIDEO only)

Select the language for the DVD menu.

xAUDIO (DVD VIDEO only)

Switches the language of the sound track. Select the language from the displayed list. When you select “ORIGINAL”, the language given priority in the disc is selected.

xSUBTITLE (DVD VIDEO only)

Switches the language of the subtitle. Select the language from the displayed list. When you select “AUDIO FOLLOW”, the language for the subtitles changes according to the language you selected for the sound track.

xPAUSE MODE (DVD VIDEO and DVD-RW in VR mode only)

Selects the picture in pause mode.

AUTO	The picture, including
