DivX® is a video file compression technology, developed by DivXNetworks, Inc. This product is an official DivX® Certified product.

You can play back DATA CDs and DATA DVDs that contain DivX® video files.

DATA CDs and DATA DVDs that the system can play back

Playback of DATA CDs (CD-ROMs/CD-Rs/ CD-RWs) and DATA DVDs (DVD-ROMs/ DVD-Rs/DVD-RWs/DVD+Rs/DVD+RWs) on this system is subject to certain conditions:

–With DATA CDs that contain DivX video files in addition to MP3 audio tracks or JPEG image files, the system only play back the DivX video files.

–With DATA DVDs, the system only play

back DivX video files. DATA DVDs that contains MP3 audio tracks or JPEG image files are not played back.

However, this system only play back DATA CDs that conforms to ISO 9660 Level 1, Level 2 or Joliet in expansion format and DATA DVDs that conforms to Universal Disk Format (UDF). This system can play back DATA CDs in Multi Session but cannot play back DATA DVDs in Multi Session.

Refer to the instructions supplied with the disc driver and the recording software for details on the recording format.

DivX video files that the system can play back

This system can play back files with extension “.AVI” or “.DIVX” that contain data in DivX format.

Notes

•The system may not play back a DivX video file when the file has been combined from two or more DivX video files.

•The system cannot play back a DivX video file which size more than 720 (width) x 576 (height)/2GB.

•Depending on the DivX video file, the picture may be unclear or the sound may skip.

•The system cannot play back some DivX video files that are longer than 3 hours.

Playing an album of DivX video files1 Load a DATA CD or DATA DVD with DivX video files on the disc tray.

The list of the albums appears in the on- screen display.

Playback starts from the first DivX video file of the selected album.

To stop playback

Press x.

To go to the next or previous page of album list

Press , or < repeatedly.

To turn on or off the display of album list

Press MENU repeatedly.
