Selects an IBM character set (character set #2 unless an < ESC > “7” command has been received). Ignored in IBM mode, since the IBM character set is selected automatically.

Selects IBM character set #l. If the standard character set is currently selected, this command remains dormant and takes effect at the next < ESC > “t” 1 command. In IBM mode. character set #l is the power-up default if DIP switch l-7 is OFF.
