(2)ALTERNATOR
Check the insulation resistance between the three (Red,Blue and White) wires of the stator and the generator body as shown in the figure right.
If there is a wire which has insulation resistance less than 1 MΩ, replace the stator. Insulation failure cause electrical leak which may result in electrocution.
(3)CONTROL PANEL
Before checking, disconnect the inverter unit from the control panel.
Measure the rechargeable parts (where the electric current flows) and insulation resistance between the live parts and the ground terminal. Measure with the AC breaker on. If there is a spot where insulation resistance less than 1 MΩ, replace the part. Insulation failure may result in electrification, or an electrical leak.
