Customizing Your Notebook
Your computer uses the Phoenix BIOS Setup pro- gram that allows you to set several system configura- tion in changing the way your computer performs. This includes you r system time and date, disk drive configuration and password setup. This information is then stored in the CMOS RAM and will remain per- manent unless you change it again. This chapter dis- cusses on how you will activate the BIOS Setup pro- gram and change the system configuration to suit your desired operation. You must be careful to set the configuration properly in order for your computer to run smoothly. If you are not sure of any settings, con- tact your dealer.
