13.3 Battery installation procedure

WARNING Before starting battery installat ion procedure, make sure that the charg e lamp is off

more than 10 minutes after power-off. Then , co n fi rm th at th e vol ta ge is sa fe in th e

tester or the like. Otherwise, you ma y get an electric shock.

POINT

The internal circuits of the servo amplifier may be damaged by static electricity.

Always take the following precautions:

Ground human body and work bench.

Do not touch the conductive areas, such as connector pins and electrical

parts, directly by hand.

1) Open the operation window. (When the model used is the MR-J2S-200B MR-J2S-350B, also remove

the front cover.)

2) Install the battery in the battery holder.

3) Install the battery connector into CON 1 until it clicks.
