CAUTION
Securely attach the servo motor to the mac hine. If attach insecurely, the servo motor may come off during
operation.
The servo motor with reduction gear m ust be installed in the specified direc tion to prevent oil leakage.
Take safety measures, e.g. provide co ver s, t o prevent accidental access to th e r ota tin g p arts of the servo
motor during operation.
Never hit the servo motor or shaft, especial ly when coupling the servo motor to the m achine. The encoder
may become faulty.
Do not subject the servo motor shaft to m ore than the permissible load. Otherw ise, the shaft may break.
When the equipment has been stored for an extended period of time, consult Mits ubishi.
(2) Wiring
CAUTION
Wire the equipment correctly and secur ely. Otherwise, the servo motor ma y misoperate.
Do not install a power capacitor, surge abs orber or radi o noise filter ( FR-BIF option) between the s ervo
motor and servo amplifier.
Connect the output terminals (U, V, W ) correctly. Otherwise, the servo m otor will operate improperly.
Do not connect AC power directly to the s ervo motor. Otherwise, a fault may occur .
The surge absorbing diode installed on t he DC o utput sig nal rela y of the servo amplifier m ust b e wired in
the specified direction. Otherwise , the forced stop (EM1) and other prot ective circuits may not operate.
