4.2 Searching terrestrial broadcasting services
To perform service search, se-
lect the Installation >Terrestrial
Searchmenu.
If you have an active antenna, you should set the Antenna
Supply 5V option to on to supply power to the amplifier of
your antenna. The digital receiver will supply the antenna
with100 milliampere at maximum.
Youshould set the Search Mode option to Auto at the first ser-
vicesearch after connecting the digital receiver. The digital re-
ceiver will searchall available services with automatic search
mode. Transponder numbers range from 5 to 12 at VHF and
21to 69 at UHF.
Tosearch a certain transponder, set the Search Mode option
toManual, and select your desired transponder at the Channel
option.
Youcan search pay services as well as free services. To search
only freeservices. setthe FTA/Scrambled option to FTA only.
FTAmeans free service. Tosearch only pay services, set it to
CASonly. CASmeanspay service. To search both free services
andpay services, set it to FTA + CAS.
Tostart service search, selectthe Ser vice Search command.
Thenappears a list box, in which found services will be listed.
Press the
OK button to save found services when a service
searchhas been completed. Tostopservice search on the way
