■ Audio detection

A preset threshold can be configured with an external microphone as the trigger to system event. The triggering condition can be an input exceeding or falling below a threshold. Audio detection can take place as a complement to motion detection or as a method to detect activities not covered by the camera's view. Please refer to page 121 Applications > Audio detection for more details.

Once you have a preset audio alarm level, you can define the triggering condition either as an audio

input rises above or falls below the alarm level.

■ Manual triggers

An event can be manually triggered by the manual trigger buttons on the main page.

3. Action

Define the actions to be performed by the Network Camera when a trigger is activated.

■ Trigger digital output for seconds

Select this option to turn on the external digital output device when a trigger is activated. Specify the length of the trigger interval in the text box.

Select this option to backup media file on SD card if the network is disconnected. Please note that this function will only be displayed after you set up a networked storage (NAS). For more information about how to set up network storage, please refer to page 128.

■ Move to preset location

Select a preset location you’ve configured. Note that please configure Preset locations first. For detailed information, please refer to page 100.
