All-Call Paging a nd Individual Z one Paging
Paging call
External PA paging to a sp ecific zone is possible f rom any

master station by pressing

('0' or '00" = all-call)
1~9(1~8*) (00~31)
and the desired zone number ('0' = all-call). It is possible to
wait for a response in this mode, but anything said will be
broadcasted over the entire zone. It is best to end the
paging call by pressing
or hanging up a handset
and waiting for a response.
Paging to zones 1 through 31 may be made through ex-
ternal PA paging using the external amplifiers and speakers,
and/or through station paging using the station speakers.
All zones are paged at the same time by all -call paging.
Note.
* This applies when the Combination Paging is used.
Paging response
1. Automatic response
To respond to a paging call, go to the nearest master sta-
tion and press ei ther
(All-call paging response)
or
(Zone paging resp onse).
2. Z one number dialing
To respond to a All-call paging, go to the nearest master
station and press
or
To respond to a Zone paging call, press
Zone No. 1 ~ 9 (01 ~ 31)
at the nearest station.
Note 1: When all-call paging is initiated during zone paging,
the Zon e paging is interrupted and restored after
the all-call paging is finished.
Note 2 : To respond to Zone paging by pressing
No.200 registration of the stations (consecutive
station numbers) within each zone must be made.
Such registration is required for both external and
station paging. For further details, please refer to
Installation Hand Book for EXES-6000 CP unit.
