Troubleshooting
How do I change to a static trusted IP address?
Before you can use a static IP address, you must have a base Trusted IP address and subnet mask.
The following IP address ranges and subnet masks are set aside for private networks in compliance with RFC 1918. Replace the Xs in the network IP address with a number between 1 and 254. The subnet addresses do not need to be changed.
Network IP range | Subnet mask |
10.x.x.x255.0.0.0
172.16.x.x255.240.0.0
192.168.x.x255.255.0.0
To change to a static trusted IP address:
1With your Web browser, go to the SOHO System Status page
using the Trusted IP address of the SOHO.
For example, if using the default IP address, go to: http://192.168.111.1
2From the navigation bar on the left side, select Network => Trusted.
3Disable the checkbox labeled Enable DHCP Server and then click the Submit button.
4Enter the information in the appropriate fields. Click the Submit button.
