Telnet is the login and terminal emulation protocol common on the Internet

 

and in UNIX environments. It operates over TCP/IP networks. Its primary

 

function is to allow users to log into remote host systems.

 

 

TFTP(UDP:69)

Trivial File Transfer Protocol is an Internet file transfer protocol similar to

 

FTP, but uses the UDP (User Datagram Protocol) rather than TCP

 

(Transmission Control Protocol).

 

 

VDOLIVE(TCP:7000)

Another videoconferencing solution.

 

 

16.5.1 Creating/Editing Firewall Rules

Follow these directions to create a new rule.

Step 1. In the Summary screen, type the index number for where you want to put the rule. For example, if you type “6”, your new rule becomes number 6 and the previous rule 6 (if there is one) becomes rule 7.

Step 2. Click Insert to display this screen and refer to the following table for information on the fields.
