FIELD	DESCRIPTION	EXAMPLE

Authen	This field sets the authentication protocol used for outgoing calls.	CHAP/PAP
	Options for this field are:
	CHAP/PAP - Your Prestige will accept either CHAP or PAP when
	requested by this remote node.
	CHAP - accept CHAP only.
	PAP - accept PAP only.

Pri Phone #	Enter the first (primary) phone number from the ISP for this remote
Sec Phone #	node. If the Primary Phone number is busy or does not answer, your
Sec Phone #	Prestige dials the Secondary Phone number if available. Some areas

	require dialing the pound sign # before the phone number for local
	calls. Include a # symbol at the beginning of the phone numbers as
	required.

Edit PPP	Move the cursor to this field and use the space bar to select Yes and	No
Options	press [ENTER] to edit the PPP options for this remote node. This	(default)
	brings you to Menu 11.2 - Remote Node PPP Options (see section
	6.2.7.
Edit PPP	Move the cursor to this field and use the space bar to select Yes and	No
Options	press [ENTER] to edit the PPP options for this remote node. This	(default)
	brings you to Menu 11.2 - Remote Node PPP Options (see section

Rem IP Addr	Leave the field set to 0.0.0.0 (default) if the remote gateway has a	0.0.0.0
	dynamic IP address. Enter the remote gateway’s IP address here if it	(default)
	is static.
Edit IP	This field leads to a “hidden” menu. Press [SPACE BAR] to select Yes	No
	and press [ENTER] to go to Menu 11.3 - Remote Node Network	(default)
	Layer Options. See the Remote Node Setup chapter for more
	information on this menu
Edit Script	Press [SPACE BAR] to select Yes and press [ENTER] to edit the AT	No
