12-5 CABURETOR

12-5-1 FUNCTION and COMPONENTS (See Fig. 12-28)

1)Float system

The float chamber is located direct& under the carburetor. Flat and needle valves. maintain a constant id level inside the float chamber.

The fuel in the tank tlo\vs into the float chamber from the needle valve. When a certain quantity of fuel enters the chamber. the float rises. When the buoyax)- oi the flat \-alve balances with the fuel in-flow pressure of the needle valves. the valves close to keep the fuel at the correct level.
