Setting to control the equipment connected to the serial port from the computer

Serial Control :Selects “External”

Port:Sets according to the com- puter specified port no. Do not use port no. 10000*2.

Other Settings :Sets according to the com- munication condition of the equipment

* The port no. of the computer must be used with 10000.

*1 This product will restart automatically when “Port” or “Serial Control” is changed and it takes about 40 seconds.

*2 The reserved port numbers are http (80), ftp (21), telnet (23), etc. The port no. 10000 is reserved to control the projector through the LAN port.

There are 2 types of RS-232C serial cable, Normal(Straight) and Reverse(Cross) type. This product provides with a serial port switching socket. Set this switch to proper side according to the cable type. How to switch the serial port socket, see item "Serial Port Switching".(p.61)

Exclusive driver software for control of the external equipment is required. This product does not provide any driver software. Please consult your local dealer.
