Prime menu

Prime All

Prints the prime pattern for each cartridge.

Prime Single

Provides access to a further menu in which you can choose to prime

 

an individual cartridge.

Start Routine

Prints a recovery pattern/jet status plot.

Clean (Color)

Causes the selected cartridge to clear its jets by expelling a small

 

amount of ink into the service station.

Clean All

Clears the jets for all the cartridges. Select this function whenever the

 

printer has been idle for four hours or more.

Color Calibration Menu

(Color) Vertical

lets you enter the number which corresponds to the best vertical

 

alignment in the test pattern for the C, M, and Y cartridges.

(Color) Horizontal

lets you enter the number which corresponds to the best horizontal

 

alignment in the test pattern for C, M, and Y cartridges.

Calib Print Test

prints the current heads, current horizontal head to head, and other

 

calibration patterns described in the Quick Start Guide.

Calibration Menu (Bold indicates the default)

Use Calib XY

provides access to a further menu in which you can set this function

 

On (default) or Off.

Paper Axis Test

prints the paper axis test pattern.

Color Db Menu

provides access to a further set of menus in which you can print the

 

color deadband test pattern and set deadband velocity compensation

 

for each cartridge.

Open Jet Menu

provides access to a further set of menus in which you can print the jet

 

status pattern and set the compensation for jets in each cartridge.

Paper Axis

provides access to a further menu in which to enter values determined

 

by examining the paper axis test pattern.
