1.Wählen der Spannung und Anschluss am Notebook

Wählen Sie anhand der Kompatibilitätsübersicht die richtige Spannung und den richtigen Steckeradapter für Ihren Notebook-Computer. Den Spannungswählschieber des Universalnetzteils (UPA) können Sie mit Hilfe eines Kugelschreibers verstellen. Stecken Sie den passenden Notebook-Steckeradapter auf das Ausgangskabel des UPA und schließen Sie dieses an der Eingangsbuchse des Notebooks an.

Hinweis: Verstellt man die Spannung, während ein Gerät vom UPA gespeist wird, schaltet sich das UPA selbsttätig ab. In diesem Fall bitte das UPA von der Stromquelle trennen. Den Spannungswählschieber auf die gewünschte Spannung einstellen. 10 Sekunden warten, dann das Netzteil wieder an der Stromquelle anschließen.

Hinweis: Bitte bewahren Sie die anderen mit dem UPA gelieferten Steckeradapter für eventuellen späteren Bedarf auf.

2. Anschluss des Eingangskabels

Im Auto oder Flugzeug: Das AIR/AUTO-

Eingangskabel am oberen Ende des UPA anschließen.

Hinweis: Der AUTO-Steckeradapter rastet auf dem AIR-

Stecker ein. Zum Trennen die Sperrzunge am AIR-

Stecker drücken und die beiden Teile auseinanderziehen.

Anschluss an einer Netzsteckdose: Das AC-

Eingangskabel an der Seite des UPA anschließen. Den

passenden APC-Netzsteckeradapter für das betreffende Land (wenn nötig) am Netzstromeingangskabel anschließen. Das UPA kann mit 100–127-V- oder 220– 240-V-Wechselstromnetzen gespeist werden.

Das Eingangskabel an der Stromversorgung anschließen. Die weiße LED-Leuchte am UPA leuchtet auf, und das Universalnetzteil liefert sofort Ausgangsspannung.

Achtung! Das UPA kann beim Betrieb größerer Notebooks oder bei längerer Nutzung in warmer Umgebung sehr warm werden. Dies ist normal. Um eine Beschädigung zu vermeiden, schaltet sich das UPA selbsttätig ab, wenn es zu überhitzen droht. Wenn es sich abgekühlt hat, schaltet es sich automatisch wieder ein. Vor dem Berühren bitte abkühlen lassen! Zur Gewährleistung eines optimalen Betriebs bitte für ausreichende Belüftung des UPA sorgen.
