3.6FIRMWARE UPGRADES
Firmware upgrades are periodically made available to enhance performance or to add features and functionality to the Canopy T1/E1 Multiplexer.
Procedure 29: Upgrading firmware
To install new firmware on a Canopy T1/E1 Multiplexer, perform the following steps.
1.Close any other applications that are active on the PC.
2.From the main menu of the EMS, select Config→Software Upgrade (shown in Figure 15 on Page 33).
RESULT: The System Upgrade window opens, as shown in Figure 24.
