2.Installation and Applications

Connecting your SmartVoice Gateway(s)

1.Connect the WAN port of your SmartVoice Gateway to your Broadband Modem using an ethernet cable.

2.Connect the power adapter to your SmartVoice Gateway and plug it into a powerpoint.

Please use the power adapter that comes with VoIP gateway. Using an adapter other than the one supplied with the VoIP gateway, may cause problems and will affect the warranty of the product.

3.Connect the Phone or PSTN lines as required to setup your SmartVoice Gateway. The way you setup the lines will depend on the model you have purchased. Refer to the following sections on both Network Connections and Telephone Connections for more information on the possible applications of your SmartVoice Gateway.

Once you have connected your gateway you can configure it using one of the two configuration options provided:

1)Web Interface

2)Telephone IVR (Interactive Voice Response)

The IVR provides basic query and configuration, while the Web interface provides a full configuration.
