Set the binder opening control knob to its smallest setting.

Place the book front side down on the binder, allowing the vertical fingers to enter the binding element rings.

Press the table binding switch. Rotate the binder opening control knob gradually until the binding opens enough to add or delete.

Press the table binding switch or the foot binding switch to close the document. Leave the binder opening control knob in the same position for additional documents.
