What is ISDN?
What is DBA?
DIVA T/A also supports Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation (DBA), known also as Call Bumping. DBA automatically drops one B-channel to allow an incoming or outgoing telephone, fax or modem call. When the voice call is over, DBA automatically re-establishes the multilink session by reconnecting the second B-channel, if the throughput requires it. It is recommended that you use DBA with BACP/BOD so that you can have greater flexibility when using the DIVA T/A.
Note: If an analog device is used on the server side of the connection, DBA will not restore a channel that has been bumped.
