If you entered incorrect information, you receive a condition message. Click OK and check your entry.

After you click the Next button, the Upgrade Wizard performs a system validation to ensure that your system is ready to receive the upgrade. It also configures FTP access and sends the pre-check files to the BCM system. The wizard provides indicators of the various activities it performs to set up and run the verification tool.

If you receive any condition messages during the verification process, refer to Appendix A, “Troubleshooting,” on page 39 for more details about the condition.

When the verification is complete:

•If the verification is unsuccessful, you receive a condition message describing what is missing from your system. In this case, click OK on the dialog box, and then click Exit on the wizard page. Correct the problem before attempting to repeat the upgrade.

•If the verification is successful, the page shown in Figure 5 appears. This page shows you a snapshot of the system information.
