Transmission options, number of pages

Enter the number of pages to be transmitted before the transmission procedure commences (in the mode: Direct transmission, see page 36). Before sending a document, you can use this option to enter the number of pages being sent. The until will compare the number of pages actually sent with the number you entered.

•Because the ratio of transmitted pages is automatically displayed when a document is transmitted from stack memory, the function represents a feed check in this mode. If the specified number of pages is not identical with the actual situation, the following message is displayed “PAGE

# MISMATCH“.
