Changing the ink cartridge

Your TF 461 can print monochrome as well as color documents. A monochrome ink cartridge is used for fax operation. You will have to replace the ink cartridge if the machine is also to be used as a color printer. The following diagram shows you how to change the ink cartridge. The replaced ink cartridge can easily be stored in the cartridge compartment.

The color ink cartridge can also be used for printing monochro-

me documents. However, if large monochrome areas are to be printed, it is recommended that the color ink cartridge be replaced by a monochro- me cartridge.

Ensure that the printhead has moved to the left into the changing position

before replacing the ink cartridge. You will damage the machine if you try to replace the cartridge in another position!

Press the following again if the printhead is not in this position.
