Symptom
Internet takes too long to download Web sites.
Problem
Modem is not set up properly.
Solution
Verify correct modem speed and COM port are selected.
1.Click the Start button and point to Settings.
2.Click Control Panel and double-click Modems.
3.Windows will detect the modem you have installed. Click the Properties button.
4.Verify that the correct modem port is set and the maximum speed of your modem is selected. Reset these settings if necessary, and click OK.
5.Close the Control Panel window.
