10. Multi-unit Operation

To transfer a call without speaking to the base unit user

After step 1, press {ih} on the cordless handset 1.

If the transferred call is not answered within 60 seconds, the cordless handset 1 will ring again. Press {INT} to return to the outside call.

10.4.2From the base unit to a cordless handset

Example: When the base unit transfers a call to cordless handset 1

1.Base unit:

During an outside call, press {INTERCOM} and {1} (desired cordless handset number) to page the cordless handset.

L The outside call will be put on hold.

L If there is no answer, press {INTERCOM} to return to the outside call.

2.Cordless handset 1:

Press {INT}, {C} or {s} to answer.

3.Base unit:

To complete the call transfer, press {SP- PHONE} or replace the handset.

To establish a conference call, press {3}.

To transfer a call without speaking to the cordless handset 1 user

After step 1, press {SP-PHONE}or replace the handset.

If the transferred call is not answered within 60 seconds, the base unit will ring again. Press {INTERCOM} to return to the outside call.

Example: When cordless handset 1 transfers a call to cordless handset 2

1.Cordless handset 1:

During an outside call, press {INT} and {2} (desired cordless handset number).

L The outside call will be put on hold.

L If there is no answer, press {INT} to return to the outside call.

2.Cordless handset 2:

Press {INT}, {C} or {s} to answer.

L Cordless handset 2 can talk with cordless handset 1.

3.Cordless handset 1:

To complete the call transfer, press {ih}. To establish a conference call, press {3}.
