PCI Ethernet and Fast Ethernet Adapters
EMPCI driver from the autoexec.ncf as well as the sys:etc\failover.ncf, if this file exists.
1At the console prompt type load inetcfg and press Enter.
2Click Yes to transfer all commands from autoexec.ncf.
3From the main menu, select Boards and press Enter. A list of network adapters appears.
4Press Ins to add a new driver. A list of available LAN drivers appears.
5Press Ins again and install the driver from the Netware driver diskette. Specify the correct path to the new empci.lan (for example, a:\nwserver\empci.lan).
6Select the new empci from the updated list.
7Type in a name for the newly added adapter.
8Specify the index number in the next field (1 is the default for the first board; set the next board at 2, and so forth).
9Specify Half or Full Duplex mode.
10Press Esc and save the configuration.
11From the INETCFG main menu, select PROTOCOLS. Select the appropriate protocols for your network.
12Press Esc to exit, saving your protocol configuration.
13From the INETCFG main menu, select BINDINGS. Highlight the protocol to bind and press Ins. Repeat this step until all bindings are complete. Repeat this step for any additional adapters in the system.
14Press Esc and save your configuration as you exit. Press Esc again to exit the INETCFG utility.
15At the server console type down and then type restart system to start the new configuration.
