Restricting Playback by Parental Lock

You can restrict playback of DVD VIDEO containing violent scenes and those not suitable for your family members. Nobody can play such a disc unless this function is canceled.

This setting takes effect only for a DVD VIDEO containing Parental Lock level information—Level 1 (most restrictive) to Level 8 (least restrictive).

Playback of discs containing higher level than the selected level will be restricted. Some discs may not be played back at all, and others may be played back with higher level scenes skipped.

Ex.: When you select “4,” discs containing level 5, 6, 7, or 8 can be played back.

You can set the Parental Lock only while playback is stopped.
