Operating Other Manufacturers’ Equipment

To change the transmittable signals for operating other manufacturers’ VCR
1Press and hold VCR .
2Press VCR.
3Enter the manufacturer’s code using the number buttons (1 – 9, 0).
See the table on the right to find the code.
4Release VCR .
You can always perform the following operation:
VCR | Turns on or off the VCR. |
After pressing VCR, you can perform the following operations on a VCR:
1 – 9, 0 | Selects the TV channels on a VCR. |
| For channel number 5, press 5. |
| For channel number 10, press 1, then 0. |
| For channel number 23, press 2, then 3. |
| • TV RETURN will function as the ENTER |
| button if your equipment requires |
| pressing ENTER after selecting a channel |
| number. |

3 | Starts playing. |
|

1 | Rewinds a tape. |
|
|

7 | Stops playing. |
|
|
8 | Pauses playing. To release, press 3. |
