To prepare the wall plate for mounting:
Slide the arms of the wall plate [02] together and insert the slide lock [29] into place. This will lock the arms into full extension making the wall plate mounting and TV attachment easier.
Install the locking screws [28] into the sides of the face plate using the 3⁄16 in hex key [25]. Screw in only until the end of the screw is flush with the inside of the plate. This will allow the TV to be mounted without interference.
