Set parameters for each item in the "Network" page.

The parameters differ depending on the con- nection type (refer to pages 12-14).

Click the [SET] button after completing the setup.

! Important

After you click the [SET] button, the “Command Executing” message appears. (This message will appear even when you click the [SET] button in other windows.) Avoid doing any operation while the message is displayed.

About the address translation function (Static IP masquerade, Network Address Translation (NAT))

The address translation function changes a global IP address to a private IP address, and “Static IP masquer- ade” and “Network Address Translation (NAT)” have this function. This function is to be set in a router.

To browse camera pictures via the Internet by connecting the camera to a broadband router, it is necessary to assign a respective port number for each camera and address translation by using the address translation func- tion. For further information, refer to the operating instructions of the broadband router.
