Assorbimento eccessivo di corrente da parte dell’amplificatore, causato da un carico degli altoparlanti (Ω) inferiore a quello minimo specificato per l’amplificatore stesso.. Per prevenire questo problema, usare altoparlanti o metodi di cablaggio che presentino all’amplificatore un carico maggiore di quello minimo specificato..

Ventilazione inadeguata dell’amplificatore.. Installarlo in modo che intorno a esso vi sia spazio sufficiente per la circolazione dell’aria necessaria a raffreddarlo (in quanto durante il funziona- mento l’amplificatore produce energia termica che deve essere dissipata)..

Temperatura eccessiva all’interno dell’autoveicolo.. In giornate estremamente calde, la temperatura all’interno di un veicolo parcheggiato al sole può superare i 60 °C.. Se si ostacola il flusso dell’aria nel punto di montaggio dell’amplificatore, quando si accende il climatizzatore l’abitacolo torna a temperature accet- tabili prima che la temperatura nel resto del veicolo scenda in modo avvertibile..
