Installing the dryer vent

￿Dryer vent systems from metal piping

Smooth piping makes sense where the vented air has to be carried a considerable distance.

A pipe offers less resistance to the discharge air than does, for instance, a flexible ventilation duct. Time and energy consumption improve with smooth piping.

You require

a connector adapter* (diameter 100 mm).

a wall pipe kit or a window vent vent kit.

Metal venting pipe from a builder or plumbing supplier(diameter 100 mm). If a larger pipe diameter is needed, adapters are necessary (for example, to transition from 100 to 125 mm diameters).

* Miele accessory available on order

￿Install the pipe (2) in the dryer using an adapter (1).

Example

1.Wall vent kit

2.Adapter
