INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Gather the required tools and parts before starting installation. Read and follow the instructions provided with any tools listed here.

Are you placing the dryer on a pedestal? You have the option of purchasing pedestals of different heights separately for this dryer. You may select a 13" (33 cm) or a 15.5" (39.4 cm) pedestal. These pedestals will add to the total height of the unit for a total height

Flat-blade screwdriver

#2 Phillips screwdriver

Adjustable wrench that opens to 1" (2.54 cm) or

hex-head socket wrench (for adjusting dryer feet)

Wire stripper (for direct wire installations)

Level

Parts supplied

Vent clamps

Caulking gun and compound (for installing

new exhaust vent)

Tin snips (new vent installations)

1A" nut driver or socket wrench (recommended)

Tape measure

of approximately 51" (129.5 cm) or 53" (134.6 cm).

For a garage installation, you will need to place the 13" (33 cm) pedestal at least 6" (15.2 cm) above the floor. You will need to place the 15.5" (39.4 cm) pedestal at least 3" (7.6 cm) above the floor.

Remove parts package from dryer drum. Check that all parts are included.

4 Leveling legs

NOTE: Do not use leveling legs if installing the dryer on a pedestal.

Check local codes. Check existing electrical supply and venting. See "Electrical Requirements" and "Venting Requirements" before purchasing parts.

For close-clearance installations between 31.5" (80.01 cm) and 37" (93.98 cm), see "Plan Vent System" section for venting requirements.
