Indication

Name

Encoder mis-

wiring detection

Description

The rotation command of the inverter differs from the actual motor rotation direction detected from

the PLG during offline auto tuning.

Check point

• Check for mis-wiring of the PLG cable.

• Check for wrong setting of Pr. 852 "PLG rotation direction".

Corrective action

• Perform connection and wiring securely.

• Change the Pr. 852 "PLG rotation direction" value.

6.1.2Minor fault

If the protective function is activated, the output is not shut off. You can also output a minor fault signal by making parameter setting. (Set "98" in any of Pr. 190 to Pr. 192 and Pr. 195 (output terminal function selection). Refer to page 61.)

Fan Failure

Indication

Name

Fan fault

Description

For the inverter that contains a cooling fan,

appears on the operation panel when the

cooling fan stops due to a fault or different operation from the setting of Pr. 244 "cooling fan

operation selection".

Check point

Check the cooling fan for a fault.

Corrective action

Replace the fan.

6.1.3Warnings

When the protective function is activated, the output is not shut off.

Name

Stall prevention

(overcurrent)

V/F control

Output if the inverter output current exceeds torque restriction level.

(Refer to page 33.).

Description

Speed

control

• Output if torque restriction level is exceeded.

• Output if the PLG setting is wrong.

Position

control

• Check the motor for use under overload.

• The acceleration/deceleration time may vary during V/F control. Check that the Pr. 0 "torque

Check point

boost" setting is not higher than required.

• Check that the Pr. 851 "number of PLG pulses" and Pr. 852 "PLG rotation direction" values are

correct.

Corrective action

• Increase the operation level using torque restriction level (analog input or parameter input).

• Check for the Pr. 851 "number of PLG pulses" and Pr. 852 "PLG rotation direction" values.

*5:Torque restriction level can be set using Pr. 22 "torque restriction level" as desired. (150% with the factory setting)

off. As soon as the regenerative energy has reduced, deceleration resumes.

Check point

Check for sudden speed reduction.

Corrective action

The deceleration time may change.

Increase the deceleration time using Pr. 8 "deceleration time".

Name

PU stop

Description

Appears when a stop was made by pressing

of the operation panel RESETSTOP or parameter unit (FR-

PU04V) during operation in the external operation mode with the Pr. 75 "reset selection/PU stop

selection" setting.

Check point

Check for a stop made by pressing
