PocketScan™ Test Strips

The PocketScan™ Blood Glucose Monitoring System measures the amount of sugar (glucose) in whole blood. Blood is applied to the target area of the PocketScan Test Strip. The test strip auto- matically draws the required quantity of blood into the reaction cell in which the reaction takes place.

The PocketScan Test Strip consists of the following parts:

Target Area

This is where you apply a small drop of blood. The required amount of blood is then automatically drawn into the reaction cell.

Contact Bars

This end of the test strip is inserted into the meter.
