Pairing and Unpairing Cordless Handset to Base
Pairing and Unpairing Cordless Handset to Base
Pairing/Unpairing the Handset
All Handsets must be paired to a Base Unit. You must perform this from both the telephone Base Unit and the cordless Handset. Successful pairing adds the Handset name to the Handset List on the Base Unit and synchronizes the Handset List from the Base to the newly paired Handset. A total of four Handsets can be paired to a single Base Unit.
Unpairing of the Handset can be done from either the cordless Handset OR the Base Unit. However, if the Handset is out of range, and you perform unpairing from just the Handset OR just the Base Unit, the device that you performed unpairing on is unpaired, but the other device remains paired. If communication between the Base Unit and the Handset is lost, you must perform unpairing on the other device as well.
Note: When performing the Handset pairing or unpairing, it is recommended that the Handset be within 3 feet of the Base Unit
