The prompt will announce, “Your outgoing message is” and then play your message. The display will flash p and after playing your message you will hear the menu once more.

To check or play your outgoing message via the base unit

You can check and play back your current outgoing message at any time via your Freelance 3000 base unit.

Ans. Press the ANSWER ON/OFF

On/Off

button.

The prompt will announce either:

“Answer on, your outgoing message is...” and play your currently selected outgoing message.

Or

“Answer off”. If prompt is “Answer off”, press the

Ans.

On/Off ANSWER ON/OFF button again and the prompt will announce the current outgoing message.

To check or play your outgoing message via the handset

 

Pick up the handset.

 

Press the  button twice to

enter the answering machine

 

menu.

Press the 8 button.

The prompt will announce, “To play outgoing message, press 2”.

Press the 2 button. Your currently selected outgoing message will be played.

 

Press and hold the button to

return the handset to standby.

Ans. Press and hold the ANSWER

On/Off

ON/OFF button until you hear, “Please select outgoing message”, then release the button.

Either

To set Answer and Record, Skip press and release the  Skip

button. P/1 will be displayed and will flash consecutively.
