Idle display could now be as shown:

On a default configuration of the phone, there could be up to five line keys avail- able for speed dial.

To dial a number assigned to a Line Key, simply press the line key directly opposite the number on the display.

To quickly view a complete list of assigned speed dial entries, press . Dial directly from a selected number.

Multiple Lines

SoundPoint® IP 600/601 SIP can support up to six lines. Lines can be configured for private or shared lines.

Typically, the top-most line key is reserved for the principle directory number of the phone. Depending on how your phone is configured, the display could resemble one of the displays shown:
