Installing the SoundPoint® IP Expansion Module

This section provides basic installation instructions and information for obtaining the best performance with the Sound- Point® IP Expansion Module. If you re- quire additional information or assistance with your new phone, please contact your system administrator.

The SoundPoint® IP 600/601 User Guide includes regulatory compliance informa- tion that your system administrator should review and can also be found at www.polycom.com.

Remove the rubber plug from the SoundPoint® IP 601 or the SoundPoint® IP Ex- pansion Module.



Align the SoundPoint® IP Expansion Module at the top of the groove lines on the SoundPoint® IP 601 phone and slide it downwards until it clicks into position. Connect the Base Stand by aligning the two protrusions on the stand to the holes on the back of the ExMod and snap it into place.
