Answering System
Greeting message
When the unit answers a call, a greeting message is played to callers.
You can use either:
–your own greeting message
–a
Recording your greeting message

4{V}/{^}: “Record greeting” i
{OK}
5{V}/{^}: “Yes” i{OK}
6After a beep sounds, hold the handset about 20 cm (8 inches) away and speak clearly into the microphone (2 minutes max.).
7Press {OK} to stop recording.
8{OFF}
Using a pre-recorded greeting message
If you erase or do not record your own greeting message, the unit plays a pre- recorded greeting asking callers to leave a message.

Listening to messages using the base unit
When new messages have been recorded, the message indicator on the base unit flashes.
Press {6}.
LIf new messages have been recorded, the base unit plays back new messages.
L If there are no new messages, the base unit plays back all messages.
