Registering a handset to a base unit

The supplied handset and base unit are pre-registered. If for some reason the handset is not re-registered to the base unit, register the handset.

Note:

L When editing, press the desired dial key to add, {CLEAR} to erase.

LWhen viewing, {w/o NUM} appears if the block calls without phone number feature is turned on. To turn the feature off: {w/o NUM} i{V} i

2 Base unit:

KX-TG6411 series: page 3 Press and hold {LOCATOR} for about 4 seconds. (No registration tone)

KX-TG6421 series: page 3 Press and hold {LOCATOR} for about 4 seconds until the registration tone sounds.

L If all registered handsets start ringing, press the same button to stop. Then repeat this step.

L The next step must be completed within 90 seconds.

3Handset:

Press {OK}, then wait until a long beep sounds.
