(% DISCONNECT SAW FROM POWER!

)% Tilt the blade to 45˚ and lower it as far as it will go.

*% Remove the motor cabinet door.

+% Loosen the pivot bolt and two adjustment bolts (=`^li\0*).

,% Push and hold the motor all the way up to relieve tension on the belt, remove the belts from the top pulley, and squeeze them between the lower pulley and casting.

-%Fit the new belts onto the pulleys in the same man- ner that you removed the old belts.

.% Push down on the motor with one hand, and tighten the adjustment and pivot bolts with the other hand or have someone help you. The belts should be tight enough that they only deflect approximately 14" when pushed in the center with your thumb or index finger with moderate force.

/% Replace the motor cabinet door.
