Maintenance Instructions
WARNING Always unplug power cord before per- forming any service on this tool.
Motor Brush Inspection and Lubrication
At approximately 100 hours of use, take or send your tool to your nearest RIDGID Authorized Service Center to be thor- oughly cleaned and inspected; worn parts replaced, when necessary; relubricate with fresh lubricant, if required; re- assemble with new brushes; and performance tested.
Any loss of power before the above maintenance check may indicate the need for immediate servicing of your tool.
DO NOT CONTINUE TO OPERATE TOOL UNDER THIS CONDITION if proper operating voltage is present. Return your tool to the Service Station for immediate service.
Saw Ventilation
Keep inlet and outlet air passages clean to insure a cool running motor. Blow out motor cooling air passages oc- casionally to help keep motor clean and free of dirt.

Tool should be taken to a RIDGID Independent Auth- orized Service Center or returned to the factory. All repairs made by Ridge service facilities are warranted against defects in material and workmanship.
