This air cleaner is suggested for use in a single closed room up to 155 square feet.
Room size ratings conform to the AHAM Certification Program criteria of 80% smoke reduction. Higher Clean Air Delivery Rates (CADRs) provide improved performance in all room sizes. Portable air cleaners will be much more effective in rooms where all doors and windows are closed.

WATER OUTPUT & AREA HUMIDIFIED
Water Output Per 24 Hours - 3.30 Gallons
Square Feet Humidified - 750
AHAM HU - 1 - 1997
This humidifier can provide appropriate humidity comfort levels for an area up to 750 square feet.
Certified humidifier performance is verified by independent laboratory product testing in compliance with AHAM standard HU - 1 - 1997. Certified product performance is based on average residential construction. Further program details are available from the AHAM website at http:llwww.aham.org. and AHAM, Chicago, IL
2 in 1 units which have been certified will have the AHAM seal, listing the gallons per day water output as well as the CADR (Clean Air Delivery Ratings) on the package. The CADR rating is the single most important thing to know about an air purifiers. CADR is the amount of clean air (in cubic feet) the machine, with its air filter in place, will deliver into a room. It mea- sures the net effect of the filter material and the air flow of the unit.
No other measurement tells you how well a unit works in your home. The higher the CADR rating on a specific particulate matter, the more efficient the unit is at removing that particulate. It is also good to know exactly what area or room size your unit will clean. Air Purifiers may be used in any room in the house. Typically , they are used in room where people spend the most
The chart below will indicate the time required to clean the air in various sized rooms in your home. Remember, every time a door or window is opened, more particulates are introduced, which will increase the cleaning time.

Also certified as an evaporative humidifier, your 2 in 1 unit adds invisible moisture to your home by moving dry inlet air through a saturated wick. As air moves through the wick, the water evaporates into the air, leaving behind any white dust, miner- als, or dissolved and suspended solids. Because the water is evaporated, there is no messy mist or spray and no white dust, just clean and invisible moist air. As the wick traps accumulated materials from the water, its ability to absorb and evaporate water decreases. We recommend changing the wick at least once a year, preferably disposing of the used wick at the end of the humidifying season and starting with a new wick at the beginning of the next humidifying season. In hard water areas, more frequent replacement may be necessary to maintain your humidifier’s efficiency.
